I have found the one my soul Loves!

God is so good! As I walked into 2025 the pieces started coming together of what my life was going to look like, and it is more beautiful than I could have imagined.

In 2024 I was searching and waiting on the Lord to show me what the next steps were. I stepped into the open doors God had for me and I was not expecting to run into Patrick.

After experiencing heart break earlier in the year, I leaned heavily on the Lord for healing. God was faithful and He restored my heart, then sent an amazing man to finish the healing!

Have you ever prayed for something, and when it finally comes you almost can't believe it? That was definitely going through my mind for a long while, and it still brings a huge smile to my face!
As Patrick and I talked, he showed himself faithful and for who he is; a man who loves the Lord, his family and his friends.

As we talked, it did not take long for God to assure me that I didn't need to look any further or for anyone else; so when Patrick asked me to walk through life with him, I immediately said yes!

Before Patrick had ever started talking to me things were already in the works for me to possibly work in Rwanda, Patrick truly is the sweetest bonus to the plans! I had only seen possible children's ministry opportunities and a new country, but God gave me a family and a home.

I traveled to Rwanda in April to get some things settled and Patrick planned a proper proposal and engagement party that was beyond what I ever imagined! My trip was beautiful and to be surrounded by friends and soon-to-be family was extra special.

Our wedding date has been set for December and much planning and preparations have been going on. To be walking in answered prayer is absolutely amazing; and waiting on God's timing has surely been the best! I look forward to what life will continue to look like and to experience all the plans God has for Patrick and I.

Praise God for His goodness and unfailing love!

"but I found him whom my soul loveth: " Song of Solomon 3:4

"Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart
And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

[a]In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him,
And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]."
Proverbs 3:5-6
