Thump, thump, thump, thump.That was the rhythm my left foot was tapping as I was driving tonight. I had the radio off because I like driving in the quiet at times, and even though it was quiet it took me a minute to realize I was tapping out a beat. I felt so comfortable driving and tapping out this beat and I was wondering why. As I kept tapping the beat sounded like a heart beat and that brought a smile to my face! One of my favorite songs has this beautiful chorus:
These beautiful words are from the song "The More I Seek You". What is it that you are searching for today? Are you in need of peace, love, or the answer to a problem? This message the Lord gave me is a beautiful reminder to stop, get quiet, imagine yourself in Abba Father's arms and LISTEN. Don't talk, listen to His heart beat. It is steady and louder than the storm you are going through! And boy, it is comforting.
