Standing not Shaken

I just love it when facebook shows me what I posted from years ago and it is goodness that I need to hear right now!

Amen! In this season the Lord has been growing me on a fear I didn't realize I had. As I read that quote the image of a tree came to me and reminded me of a Bible verse. That we aren't puny lil trees that should be shaken here and there, we are trees planted beside still waters, with roots and a sturdy trunk.
Soak up the Son, drink of the waters of the Holy Spirit and wave your branches in praise today beloveds!

“For he will be [nourished] like a tree planted by the

waters,

That spreads out its roots by the river;

And will not fear the heat when it comes;

But its leaves will be green and moist.

And it will not be anxious and concerned in a year of drought

Nor stop bearing fruit. Jeremiah 17:8
