Is it time to upgrade?

I just recently upgraded my cell phone and I have been so happy! I am able to send and receive pictures, go on the internet, have my maps in case I need directions, and so many handy apps to help me. I had been wanting a phone upgrade for a while but I kept holding onto my old phone because it was too dear to me.

You see last year I was having phone problems and my Aunt Vera whom I have never met in person sent me an old phone of hers in the mail and it helped me out so much! I was able to call and text and that was all I needed at the time. This year I was getting frustrated because this phone which was so helpful was slowing me down. Sending and receiving pictures is helpful to my job and connecting with friends. Being able to get on the Internet is helpful at work and staying connected with others. The other features of this phone which have been helpful to me have their importance as well!

I was having breakfast with my friend Paden one day and he advised me that I should get a newer phone. That thought stayed in my mind especially when I was having problems trying to reload minutes on my phone. Too many issues were going on so when I saw that a brand new phone was on sale at the store I bought it and I haven't regretted it!

I see phones as a great example of our relationship with God. When we are baby Christians we need the necessities of communicating with our Father through prayer (calling) and reading His word (text messages); however, the longer we have a relationship with God the greater our spiritual plan should be because we take on more of the ways of God's Kingdom.

If you are a babe in Christ and you are afraid to know God more and go deeper into your relationship with Him I encourage you to let go and let God! Yes, trusting in God and going beyond our comfort zone can be hard, but we have a Father who has planned out our days and they are filled with good. Trust Him and see where He wants to take you! "I say this because I know the plans that I have for you.” This message is from the Lord. “I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future. Jeremiah 29:11   :)

I am also speaking to my siblings in Christ who are older in your faith and you want more of God, but the next step is difficult or you are not sure what the next step is. I encourage you to step out as the Holy Spirit leads you! If your step is hard lean on Jesus our Rock and He will get you through it.
"The Lord is my Rock, my fortress, my place of safety. He is my God, the Rock I run to for protection.
He is my shield; by his power I am saved.[b]He is my hiding place high in the hills." Psalm 18:2
If you are not sure what the next step is pray and seek like you never have before! And expect an answer because our Father will answer you. "Do any of you need wisdom? Ask God for it. He is generous and enjoys giving to everyone. So he will give you wisdom." James 1:5

Enjoy your upgrade, it is a plan customized to fit you and your coverage is world-wide!

And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18
