In Sunday School class one of my dear sister's in Christ shared her testimony of God's faithfulness. She is is the last stretch to get her EdD (doctor of education degree) and was getting overwhelmed because there is still a lot of work for her to do. She knew she could do the work but there was just so much to be done! There were so many assignments and lists going through her mind when she went to bed Saturday night. When she woke up on Sunday she went to her trusty chair. In that chair she works in her office, plays piano and does her Bible study. She told us when she sat down she could feel herself sitting in Abba Father's lap! His peace that surpasses all understanding came upon her and she was stilled! Then God showed her what task to tackle first and how she should go about the rest of her work. She was refreshed, filled with peace and full of His love! When she was through telling us there was hardly a dry eye in our class! .

I have been thinking on her testimony all week and it keeps encouraging me! There was so much going on in my week that I wanted and needed to get done, but it seemed like I never had enough time to do anything! When I went out to the store there was always a long line, in the parking lots there were many bad drivers, a sewing project popped up that needed to be finished quickly, my dog peed on my carpet 3 times, I needed to buy tickets for an event, I needed to buy a book for a friend, I had to unexpectantly take my brother to the doctor, I wanted to meet with my good friend but when, my dog started limping, my friends asked me to go bowling, I needed to print music for church, and my phone was about to run out of texting minutes! Whew, ya that was my week.

I found myself thinking of my dear sister's testimony every day and so I was reminded of the faithfulness of God. No matter the big or small things that happen in my life I don't have to wonder where is God because I know He is right there. I asked Him for help many times this week and as I look back on my week I see it was all taken care of:

When the lines were long and I had to brake suddenly because of the bad drivers I asked God to bring out the fruits of Patience and Love inside of me. I didn't stay upset, I kept going!
The sewing project was finished in time and turned out cuter than I thought!
I found a solution for the carpet!
I had plently of time one morning and purchased my tickets!
I was able to buy the book for my friend!
Took my brother to the doctor and it was a quick visit; he will be better soon!
I met my dear friend for breakfast and had a good time of fellowship!
My dog will be fine after he gets some rest, I realized we went on too many walks and since he is 13 he needs to take it easy. I bought a dogie car seat that was on sale. That was Abba Father blessing Mr. Toby and me! :)
I said no to going bowling and I was ok!
I got the music printed and we didn't even have to sing. At church I enjoyed the 1957 Billy Graham crusade we watched and a piece of chocolate cake!
I was able to buy the minutes for my phone for only $5 instead of $15!

I look back on this full week and I am so thankful that I didn't panic. Yes, a lot went on but I took it one day at a time. I went straight to my Abba Father instead of worrying about it all the time. I know that His mercies are new every morning and that I didn't have to be spiritually drained, He would fill me up again for the next day.

Great is Your faithfulness Lord!
You prepared me for my week and walked me through each day.
You gave me patience and peace and You name I will praise!
Great is Your faithfulness Lord!

22 It is because of the Lord's lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed,Because His [tender] compassions never fail. 23They are new every morning;Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
