I wanted to write a long blog post telling of Jesus love for us.
I wanted to explain in detail His suffering and how He died on the cross;
However, God's redemptive plan was simple and grand!
He gave His only Son so that we could be made right.
Now when we come and receive Jesus we are white as snow in His sight!
Not only are we given the gift of salvation, we are also given the Holy Spirit to help us live life with God's power.
We have hope because of the resurrection!
So on this glorious day where we celebrate the Risen King
I praise God that death has no more sting!
then the Scripture will be fulfilled that says, “Death is swallowed up in victory (vanquished forever). 55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin [by which it brings death] is the law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.1 Corinthians 15:54b-57
