I am thankful for you!

Do you hear those words often? Do you know if people are thankful for you? Do you tell others
you are thankful for them?

When November rolls around you see so many people do 30 days of Thankfulness and talk about what they are thankful for all month long. Then when Thanksgiving comes you may spend time with family you haven't seen in a while and get to tell them you love them face to face expressing being thankful for them.

I am thankful for you! Sometimes we don't hear those words enough throughout the year, and we don't tell them to others.

In my young adults ministry group (YAMs haha!) we did something neat; we all decorated paper bags with our names on them. Then we wrote what we were thankful for about each person and put it in their bag. When we got to our homes we all read the encouraging notes from our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We YAMs hang out with each other all the time and have lots of fun. Even though we are friends and care for each other having hand written notes with someone's words of appreciation to you means a lot! I was blown away by my friends' messages and almost cried happy tears.

I know not everyone gets to hear words of appreciation, love or thankfulness, so today I want you to know that I am thankful for each and every one of you! Know that you are loved, important and wanted!

I encourage you to let others know you are thankful for them all year long.

Be blessed, beloveds!

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
