Are you standing on the Rock?

While I was driving I turned on the
Christian radio station KLOVE and one of the artist was describing their song "Build my Life".
The artist, Pat Barrett, said
"The storm reveals the foundation we have built our life upon."

We all go through storms in life. Perhaps you are going through a storm right now. What have you built your foundation on?

Your education?
Your job?
Your significant other?
Your family?
Money? 

All of these things will disappear one day; but Jesus, He is forever!
If you don't know Him yet I pray that today you say yes and follow Him. If you know Him but have been going your own way, I pray that you turn back and put your trust in Him again. And if you are remaining faithful dear one keep it up! And let your light shine.

Let us build our foundation on the Rock so when the storms come we will still be standing.

“The Rock, his work is perfect,
    for all his ways are justice.
A God of faithfulness andwithout iniquity,
    just and upright is he.
Deuteronomy 33:4

46 “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?47 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.[c] 49 But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”
