My, all this corona virus/covid 19 talk is
everywhere. I see so many people freaking out, even Christ-followers.
I know the times can be scary but, they don't have to! If you have tunnel vision and are only looking at the problem, you are going to stay stuck in fear. However, if you are in Christ and you have made Him your Lord and Savior you don't have to walk in fear.
At the start of the year a lot of Christians said they were taking the year 2020 literally and taking up 20/20 spiritual vision-choosing to see things the way God does. It is a reminder we need right now!
God lives in all time! This didn't surprise Him at all. If we use wisdom such as washing our hands and social distancing, that is all we can do in the natural and that is great. Then we leave the rest to God! We trust Him to keep and protect us and if He calls us to help others such as delivering items etc. to people shut-in or helping in a public place we trust Him to keep us.
The added beauty is even after this virus is over, we Christ-followers can keep 20/20 vision and have peace all the time. That is what separates us from the world; we have God and no matter what happens we can have peace.
If you are a Christ-follower and have been looking at the world through tunnel vision, I encourage you to look up! Remember whose you are, a child of the King, and walk in confidence! Let us be calm beacons of light to the world and share with them 20/20 vision.
