Encouragement to rest ❤

Hey all! We may have to stay in our homes but there are so many different opportunities to minister to people! Video calling, mailing cards and care packages, making face masks, delivering food, and the list keeps going on and on. I have enjoyed seeing so many different ways that people are finding to reach others.

It is wonderful and I applaud you! I also want to remind to you to make sure you are taking time to rest. Even though we are home a lot and it seems like you are resting maybe you aren't.  Maybe it's hard to put down the crafts you make for others. Maybe it's hard to step away from your computer and your work. If you don't watch out you will get burnt out, then you won't be a help to anyone.

I had a dream last night that I had this cool watch that could do almost anything! I had been doing stuff with it all day. Then I looked at it and realized the battery was about to die. I had to go plug it in the charger fast! I then realized while it charged I couldn't really do anything until it was done and I had to sit and wait. I had family with me that I don't see often and I realized I could take this time to visit with them.

Child of God, don't feel guilty for taking rest. We are commanded to take a day of rest so the Father wants us to take and enjoy it! When you do take your rest make sure you fill up your spiritual tank. Let God pour into you, then you will be able to pour into others. Soak in God's presence a good while! Enjoy today's song Your presence is heaven by Israel Houghton and soak in God's presence as well.

Be blessed, beloveds!

9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, 10 for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
Hebrews 4:9-10

28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
