I just found out today that a dear friend of
mine's mother went home to glory. In the words of my dear friend: "She was a very strong Christian women who has fought a very long a painful disease for 26 years. Even though she was in pain she still managed to witness and encourage others that were hurting. She loved everyone she met and they loved her as well. All I have left are the memories and the peace of knowing she is not in pain anymore."
I want my dear friend and her family to know that I mourn with themand when the mourning is over I will rejoice with them!
Today's encouraging song is one that I wrote for a friend of mine who went home to glory as well. Dear Cindy had went through the ups and downs of a traumatic brain injury for 20 some years. That lady loved the Lord and now she can worship Him pain free and whole for eternity!
I am so thankful that I know Jesus and these two lady's do as well. That I have to hope of seeing them and others when I get to heaven one day as well. It is comforting to know that I don't say goodbye but see you later! I pray that this song blesses you today.
Be blessed, beloveds!

Cindy's Song
To grant to those who mourn in Zion the following:
To give them a [c]turban instead of dust [on their heads, a sign of mourning],
The oil of joy instead of mourning,
The garment [expressive] of praise instead of a disheartened spirit.
So they will be called the trees of righteousness [strong and magnificent, distinguished for integrity, justice, and right standing with God],
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3
13 Now we do not want you to be uninformed, believers, about those who are asleep [in death], so that you will not grieve [for them] as the others do who have no hope [beyond this present life]. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again [as in fact He did], even so God [in this same way—by raising them from the dead] will bring with Him those [believers] who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
