Wake up and shine!

Good morning!

I woke up to a dark and overcast sky but the day did not determine what I was feeling. There is joy and light inside of me! I always pray that my Jesus light shines bright and the overcast sky reminded me of today's encouraging song Lights Shines Bright by Toby Mac.

In this time of worry and darkness with Coivd-19 our lights shine brighter because the darkness if more pronounced. I ask you child of God, is your light shining?

Maybe your light was not so bright before all of this but you didn't want to admit it. With all this extra time we definitely have time to spend with Jesus and grow in our love walk with God. Will you do that though?

Our light was never meant to be hidden. There are too many dying without the hope we carry in this world and we can't afford to stay quiet! I believe this Covid-19 has been a wake up call to the church. We the church have not always done our best. Our "salt" hasn't done as much as we would have liked to change the flavor of the world around us. In just the beginning months of this year I have seen so many false teachers and that so many people are following them because they don't know the truth! We need to be grounded in our relationship with Jesus and know His truth so we can share it with this dying world.
I exhort you child of God to let your light shine brightly! This world needs the truth and life we hold inside of us.

Be blessed, beloveds!

Lights Shine Bright by Toby Mac

13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that[b] they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:13-15
