Thanksgiving looks different this year,
And it is not because our world is a mess.
The reason is an empty chair
That usually is filled with my brother and laughter coming out of his chest.
I knew this was not going to be easy.
I have surely spilt my share of tears;
But the pain is replaced with rejoicing
Knowing that he's whole and will face no more fears!
So while there may be some sadness at our table
There is also sweet comfort that is found.
Because we are held fast by the love of our Savior.
No matter what we have gone through He has never let us down!
There may be an empty seat at your table,
And Thanksgiving may feel different for you as well.
I pray that you rest in the arms of the Savior,
And that His peace in you may richly dwell!
💓 Be blessed, beloveds, and Happy Thanksgiving 💓
Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,

2 Corinthians 1:3-4
15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:15-17

Such eloquent words, it brought tears to my eyes. I love it, Little Sweetheart. You need to share your talent and write a book and have it published. God has truly blessed you. Love you, Little Grandma
