🩷 What a Gift 🩷

Tuesday was an exciting day because I was able to meet the kid I sponsor in the Kunda sponsorship program of Best Family Rwanda! 🩷His name is Gift.🩷

We started the day off by hanging out with the kids in the Nyarugungua sector in Best Family Rwanda. We had a short devotion on Hebrews 13:5, sang My God is so great so strong and so might
y, and had fun playing games! There 100 kids in the program in this sector, however not all of them were there because it is a holiday season right now.

Then it was off to visiting Gift and his family. As per the cuatom we came with gifts of various foods.

My guy Gift is the only kid in his house and is taken care of by an adoptive mom and dad.
I enjoy writing him every month and getting to know him. He is very smart, does great in school, speaks and writes English well and has dreams of becoming a doctor!

He lives in the Nyarugunga sector of Rwanda.
The branch manager of this sector is Esperanza (pictured beside me).
The assistant branch manager is Jean Paul (the really tall guy!).
Gift's dad is standing next to him in the group pictures.

It was very neat to see that Gift and his family have 3 cows. Because of having cows Gift gets the nourishment of fresh milk. Cows are also held in high esteem in Rwanda, so I was very happy to see that Gift and his family are doing so well. ❤️
I am so glad that I still have opportunties to visit Gift while I am still here.

I look forward to seeing all that God has planned in Gift's life!
