Oh the difference a few of weeks can make! Bosco took me to the building site recently and lots of updates have happened.
The fencing around the property is nearly complete. The workmanship of fence making is amazing!
The metal fencing in the brick has been installed and the gate that leads to the ministry side of the property has been hung.
The foundation was being placed for the gates at the entrance and the guard house that will sit between the entrance and exit gates.
Watching the foundation be built, seeing each stone placed exactly where it needs to go and being chiseled into the perfect shape, gave me a new appreciation for the parable Jesus taught of building on two foundations found in Matthew 7:24-27.
24 “So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man] who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish (stupid) man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great and complete was its fall.”
Matthew 7:24-27
This is Pastor Joseph, one of the supervisors. He is a joy to be around and talk with!
Another exciting update is that the paving stones are starting to be made! So far there are 150 that have been made. It will take around 10,000 stones to pave the first areas on the check list!
Bosco and his team have been doing a great job in overseeing this project and stewarding the resources.
Watching how God has been bringing everything together is awesome and I look forward to the next step in the building process!
