God is doing great things in the progress of the new school building for BSVI!
Let me show you what the building looked like at the beginning of this year.
It was a great blessing to have the fence finished, the gates installed and the project to have paves installed behind the school building was completed.
As construction has continued, it is with great joy to report that the doorframes and windows have been installed for all 8 classrooms, each classroom has two chalk boards, the kitchen is almost completed, the bathrooms are being tiled, the 20 toilet stalls are being completed, the concrete floors are being finished and paint is going up!
With construction almost done it is time to start furnishing the classrooms with desks for students and cabinets for teachers. There are 8 classrooms, and each class room will have 23 desks and 1 teacher cabinet. The desks and cabinets both cost $65 USD each and will be made of high quality materials so they will last long and look beautiful.
The cost breakdown:
8 classrooms - 23 desks in each room
23x8= 184 desks
Desks cost: $65 USD each 65x184= 11,960
One teacher cabinet for each room = 8
Cabinet cost: $65 USD each 65x8= 520
Total amount needed: 12,480 USD
God has been so good and has provided what is needed for each project thus far, and we are excited to see Him bring about the furniture for the classrooms.
